It seems that the theory of August back to being a kid is really true.

I’m still debating how I feel about this…

so basically something goes wrong with adult pinocchio but then the BF goes “No wait, I put a reset button somewhere”? ok bye

ABC’s Once Upon a Time will conjure a gender-bending twist with its next new episode (airing Feb. 10), when Jorge Garcia’s semi-gentle beanstalk resident makes the acquaintance of fated giant-killer Jack — played by Cassidy Freeman (Longmire, Smallville). And we’ve got a first look!

In Season 2′s 13th episode, “Tiny,” Anton the Giant climbs down to the ground — against his brothers’ wishes — and attempts to befriend some humans, whose intentions may not be so noble. Among his new buds is Freeman’s Jack (which we’ll go out on a beanstalk limb and guess is short for Jacqueline…?).

Elsewhere in the hour, the Giant unleashes his vengeance on Storybrooke when a case of mistaken identity leads him to try to settle an old score with David (who, you remember, was born a twin); Greg questions Belle about what she saw on the night of his accident; and Mr. Gold and Emma take to the friendly skies to seek out Bae. (“You’re going to have to check your enchanted dagger, sir.”)

So he wasn’t ALWAYS a giant.

1600 Penn regular Benjamin Stockham, who plays the Gilchrists’ youngest son Xander on the rookie NBC comedy, has landed a plum guest-starring role on Once Upon a Time that films later this month, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.
In the 17th episode of the season, he will play Owen, a precocious, strong-willed kid who isn’t afraid to speak his mind — but his free-spirited, lively personality is all a facade, as he’s secretly dealing with the tragic death of his mother.
Episode details are being kept under wraps for now, but it’s fair to say Stockham’s character will play a significant role in its outcome.
